Vogue Russia September 11

Like a devoted friend I haven’t bought Vogue Russia since Alyona Doletskaya (first editor-in-chief) left it. Lots of people noticed changes in magazine. New editors tried to do something but we haven’t understood what. I don’t want to criticise their work I just want to say that my favourite magazine had became more Cosmopolitan than Vogue. It was full of clothes, not fashion. Letters from new editor-in-chief were funny, she wrote some stuff about her favorite clothes. Some time ago I had a lot things to say about it, but not now.
I’d like to say that in upcoming issue we will finally find not a perfect cover for September issue but a good cover story with Natasha Poly by Hedi Slimane.

And among of everything I do like the Patrick Demarchelier special project with prima ballerina Diana Vishneva. First of all because I think Patrick is a live legend of fashion photography and it’s such a pleasure to see his works in Russian Vogue.

Well, after one year they have done something good. Hope they will continue doing such things and it will be even better than this.
